It’s around June that it occurs.
Matariki means the eyes of god
Maori use it as a navigation tool
Crops are ready for picking when the stars are at their brightest

A Matariki Story
Matariki is a story of the 7 sisters they all come but mom and dad do not come because they are somewhere up the Sky but we can not see them and matariki make the plants grow and making flying kites and to celebrate Matariki your way
